Where: Westbourne Community Centre, 43 Roman Way London N7 8XF [5 mins from caledonian road underground station]. The entrance to the community centre is located just behind the parade of shops.

Sk8 Flow Drills Accelerator [& Open Sk8]

4 Weeks

Take your skate flow to the next level!

Pre-requisite: You must be able to skate backwards [for a minimum of 10 meters]. Transition from front, to back, to front again. Roll on your toe wheels for 5 meters.

Or, have completed an Edges, Transitions & back skating course, and a Rhythm Skating Course.

The course will take you through a series of Intermediate Sk8 Flow Drills designed to develop your control, outside flow, transitions and confidence on skates - helping you to take your skating to your A-Game. 

 

Each week, we'll focus on 3 of the following flow groups:

We’ll cover:

✅ Essential Flow Drill Combo Sets: Forwards, Backwards, Sideways movement patterns and combos.

âś… JB Inspired Edge Work & Flow: Develop your edge work, control & creative flow through JB inspired combs.

âś… Pivot Combo Sets: Two feet and one foot combo sequences.

âś… Slow Set Flows: Smooth flow combos to improve your style balance, precision and flow.

 

Note: This course is for 18+ students.

 

Course Structure 

1 hour 45 minute session is divided into two parts:

45 minutes: Intermediate Flow Drills

1 hour: 0pen Sk8 Practice

Important note

Roller skating isn’t without its risks! Please be aware that you particape at your own risk. Skate Base London and its instructors do not accept liability for any injuries incurred).

Do – wear loose comfortable clothing and supply/fit your own roller skatesprotective gear (knee, shin and elbow pads, wrist guards and safety helmet) to reduce the risk of personal injury.

Don’t – forget to bring water!

Do – be ready to have fun as you advance your roller skating skills!

Please note that some parts of the courses will be filmed for promotional purposes.

 

Please bring your own Roller skates and protective wear as they will not be provided. All students must wear wrist guards as a minimum requirement (although helmets, elbow and knee pads are also recommended for maximum protection).
