Learn to skate the pavements & roads!
Pre-requisite: You must be able to skate forwards and be able to stop comfortably [with a good level of balance and control].

We Will Cover:
âś…Â Improving T-stops, plough stops, backwards plough stops & more!
âś…Â Going up & down stairs safely
âś…Â Navigating different types of outdoor surfaces
âś…Â Stepping up & down kerbs
âś… Road awareness & saftey
âś…Â Backwards skating [on rougher outdoor surfaces]
âś…Â Learning to transition from front to back & to front again!
✅ Control your rolll on the slopes [big and small — both up & down]!

Note: This course is for 16+ students.
Â
Together, we'll work towards advancing your street skating skills, confidence and style. Students are encouraged to move through the course at a pace that suits their personal learning style.
Â
Consider bringing along a spare wheel, bearings and a skate [wheel] tool when street skating [I'll also have a few essentials available to you on the day].

Roller skating isn’t without its risks! Please be aware that you particape at your own risk. Skate Base London and its instructors do not accept liability for any injuries incurred).
Do – wear loose comfortable clothing and supply/fit your own protective gear (knee, shin and elbow pads, wrist guards and safety helmet) to reduce the risk of personal injury.
Don’t – forget to bring water!
Do – be ready to have fun as you advance your roller skating skills!
Please note that some parts of the courses will be filmed for promotional purposes.

Please bring your own Roller skates and protective wear as they will not be provided. All students must wear wrist guards as a minimum requirement (although helmets, elbow and knee pads are also recommended for maximum protection).
